About Prints

I artistically create and subjectively edit all photos. I, or a master printmaker under my direction, produce all prints using the highest-quality archival materials.

It’s All About The Paper

We use high-quality fine art, 100% cotton, 100% alpha cellulose, or natural fiber (bamboo and agave) papers. All are acid-free, lignin-free papers. Some papers include a Baryta layer that offers superb image detail, definition, and tonal range and improves their archival properties. All papers are heavy-weight and have an archival longevity of 100 to 200 years! Archival ink dyes add to the longevity. How long your print lasts depends on how you display or store it. See Photo Care and Longevity Guidelines.

Black & White Prints

Expect rich blacks, smooth, subtle tone transitions, and discernible contrast and sharpness. Prints are processed with high-tech professional printers. A variety of fine art papers are offered. All mount, mat, and frame materials are acid-free museum archival quality.

Color Prints

Various fine art papers offer stunning prints with full-color gamut and gradation, image sharpness, contrast, and sharpness. Prints are processed with high-tech professional printers. All mount, mat, and frame materials are acid-free museum archival quality.

Finish Print Presentation

Prints are offered as; a rolled print, a mounted and matted print, or a mounted, matted, and framed with UV glazing. Each is signed in the white space at the bottom right-hand corner.

Some Basics

  • Most prints are presented as follows: the photo is centered on an oversized piece of archival photo paper. For example, a 10” x 8” photograph is centered on a 14” x 11” piece of paper with a white margin on all four sides.

  • A print typically ships in 17-21 working days after order confirmation.

  • Each print includes an Artist Statement, Certificate of Authenticity, and longevity care instructions.

  • Print-only purchases (prints not ordered with a mat or frame) include a narrow white border for easier after-purchase mount, mat, and framing.

  • Custom print sizes and finishes are available. Call for a quote.

Portfolio Collections

Collections are themed sets of photos sold as a group. Print sets range from 4 to 15 prints. Each print is signed and titled. Each set includes an Artist Statement page, a “collection description” summary page, and an image list with title, date taken, and location.
