Pricing & Print Format Guidelines

Our prints are offered as Limited Edition (LE) and Open Edition (OE). The reproduction of each LE photograph is limited (see chart below). Each LE print is signed and delivered with an LE Certificate of Authenticity. The print and the certificate have matching numbered hologram tags. OE prints are reproduced without restrictions. OE prints are signed and do come with a standard Certificate of Authenticity.

Print category (LE or OE), print size, and print finish (print only, mount and mat, mount, mat, and frame) determine the price.

Prints are available as;

  • Print-only and are shipped flat in a protective package or as a rolled print in a tube, or

  • Mounted and matted, ready to be framed, or

  • Mounted, matted, and framed with glass or acrylic cover ready to be hung.

Prints are offered in specific sizes and finishes. However, anything is possible. Contact Us for a quote if you have a specific need for a custom size or finish. We would be happy to talk to you about the options.

Pricing Notes

  1. Posted prices for print-only orders include shipping costs within the continental USA. Call for quotes for other locations. Mounted, matted, and framed prints require an additional shipping cost. Contact us to get a quote for framed pieces.

  2. Image size is the size of the photo on the paper. For example, a 12” x 18” photograph may be printed on 16” x 20” photo paper, leaving a white border. See the Example Diagram below. An 18” x 12” image on 18” x 12” paper means the print is border-to-border minus a small white bordered edge to make framing easier.

  3. Paper size represents the total outside dimension of the paper print.

  4. Mat measurement is an outside edge-to-edge dimension. If a print is matted, the outside dimension of the mat is the same size as the paper size and frame size. Mat ‘window’ (opening) sizes will vary depending on the image size. See the Example Diagram below.

  5. Frame size is an inside dimension measurement. For example, a 24” x 36” frame represents the inside or visible dimension measurement. It is not the outside or total measurement of the frame. Outside dimensions depend on the width of the frame. See the Example Diagram below. Frames are available for most prints.

  6. All photographs are printed on gallery-quality archival paper - 100% cotton, 100% alpha cellulose, or natural fiber (bamboo, agave, etc.). Paper longevity ranges from 100 to 200 years, depending on the specific paper and how the photograph is displayed and stored.

  7. Archival pigment-based ink dyes are used in each print.

  8. All prints are signed. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

  9. Prices are subject to change without notice.
