The concept, Eastern Journey, references the early and traditional Chinese and Japanese aesthetic. I am not an art scholar. Nor is it my intention to create new work that mimics this aesthetic. Rather, the objective is to appreciate it and create new art that incorporates my interpretation of its aesthetic elements.
